View Full Version : which cable do i need? 1/4 TRS to RCA?

my 56S mixer doesn't have 1/4 TRS booth, i can only have RCA. what cable/adapter do i need so i can use the booth at the club (1/4 TRS) on my 56S?

I would use an RCA male to 1/4" female.

they have cables that are 1/4th to rca

The TRS part of the quarter inch is not completely necessary to transmit a signal. TRS sends a balanced - 3 part signal - if you just plug the 1/4" TRS into the female 1/4" to mail RCA adapter shown above it will work, you will just lose out on the balanced advantage of the TRS connector.
