Post some of your favourites, either old or new, but no electro-house stuff please! Just electro.

A couple of obvious choices to start things off: -

The 12 is solid too. I spent way too much on the 12 when I bought it over 10 years ago. Back when records were overpriced online I don't miss those days.
It goes without saying that the 12" is 1000 times more practical to mix with.

Electric Kingdom was a lot better, seemed "Siberian Nights" was the sequel to that or something. It was a lil different but a bit of uncreative recycling on Twilight 22's part as well IMO.
They sampled their own shit in a time of a sampling free-for-all. Maybe they were just trying to ride the success of Electric Kingdom a little too long.

^^I bought the album in 1985 cos I really liked Electric Kingdom, which was on Crucial Electro 1 (the best straight up electro LP in that series IMO).

^Like most electro albums, that Twilight 22 album was a huge flop.

Yeah, and aside from 2 or 3 tracks, it was hugely wank as well!

anyone mentioned the following?

- Nucleus - Jam on it
- Nucleus - Push the button
- Nucleus - Jam ons Revenge
- Arthur Bakers - Breakers Revenge
- Cybotron - Boogie Down Bronx

And pretty much most of Mantronix's stuff was dope.

I obviously don't know the difference between electrohouse and electro then haha. To me they are one and the same nowadays
