So I've been looking all around but I'm not sure what they're even called. I'm just looking for something cheap where I can plug in all my lights into a power strip, but have control from turning each of them on and off. I'm not really concerned about having control over DMX (most of my lights aren't dmx). Just something for me so I don't have to keep plugging/unplugging lights.

I would try something like this. switchable from remote.

THIS (http://www.ebay.com/itm/American-DJ-SC-8-Lighting-control-system-/300711015865?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4603c5f5b9) is exactly what your looking for and the controller has a 25foot cord between the plug ins. Its just a simple 8 on and off switches. It also has an "all on" and a "all off button"

THIS (http://www.ebay.com/itm/American-DJ-Light-CoPilot-III-Light-Control-System-0SH-/251062632559?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a747fc06f) option is a bit more complex as it adds chase sequences for parcans.

You can do this wirelessly with the ADJ Witech 8.. I use it and it's great. I had one event where my lighting t-bar was on the opposite side of the room from my booth and we had control over which light was on with no problems.

This is what we use (for now, til I get our DMX controller).

Just remember if you're controlling LED fixtures with on/off power you'll have to wait for them to initialize and fire up before you see the effect. ie. if you have a pair of led movers and you turn them off, then turn them on they will have to go through their spiel before they will start outputting light again. The right way to do this is via DMX. If your running say halogen pars for example, you'll be just fine with this method.
