So let's start off with this: I know nothing about techno, but I want to. I hang out in the DNB subforum, but have always enjoyed techno. I'm looking for more of stuff like this:

I use vinyl and have been wanting to get into collecting some techno records for a while now, but I'm not quite sure where to start. Any help would be super appreciated!

That first track had me worried as its a trance tune, but CC is known to mix it up.

Yeah I should have specified to ignore the first track. Those tracks are good, definitely. Do you know of any mid to late 90s labels that I could check out on discogs?

Thanks, Rek. +rep!

Download a Dave Clarke set.
Tracklistings can be found here: http://smirnoff103.com/tracklists.php

This would be a good place to start.

Coxy has always been the one for his trance excursions, but you'll find very few Techno guys who'll say a bad word against him, when there was all that 'superstar DJ' bollocks knocking about he was the only one who got respect, he's a REAL effing DJ and a great bloke.
