Sony headphones finally snapped, what's your favorite headphones, Seinheisser HD-25 II, Allen and Heath XG-25, or perhaps Pioneer CDJ-2000 for loudest cleanest thumping bass, comfortable fitting and built to last (best swiveling least plasticky). Thank you all!
i like my hd-25 II's a lot. great bang for your buck and they'll last you if you're not intentionally abusing them.

How about the lack of swivel does that affect comfort ability for cuing and how's the bass response especially with the smaller size diaphragm? Thanks for your feedback!
mine swivels enough for me  i'll wear the headphones for about 2 hours before i start to notice them on. there is plenty of bass response even at high volume, although the only headphones i can compare them to are the ultrasone DJ1 pros. i guess the only way to find out is to try on a pair for yourself.
i'll admit i bought mine off a whim based on a few reviews and the support they have in the DJ community. i don't regret the purchase one bit.

I like the Sony MDR-7506s. Super light and comfy, hardly notice them. No swivel, but I don't need ones with a swivel. Definitely nicer cans out there but a good option for less than $100.

Aiaiai TMA-1. After about 2 years (?) they are still holding up great, and I beat the piss out of them. No swivel, but the drivers have enough play in them to not be an issue.

Beyer DT1350's are my current cans. I used to use HD25's (for 10 years) The DT1350's sound better and are flatter. I also use them for recording and live audio production so I need a top pair of cans.

I use a pair of Panasonic HTF-600. Cost the fraction of any other can mentioned. Very nice SQ that comes from it. It has received very good reviews from audio websites. Amazon carries them.
