Hi Guys,

I have two PRX612M tops and one PRX618S-XLF sub.

What is the correct way to setup this system?

I assume I go from mixers stereo out > sub > tops.

On the back I have two push buttons, one for xover and one for polarity.

Should these buttons be pushed in or out?

Also, do I turn the sub level knob all the way up or 12 o-clock?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

yes out from mixer to subs then to your tops. you want the crossover engaged on the sub. For polarity, run your system and take a listen with the button in each position and determine which sounds louder to you. If you have your tops at say 12. I would put the sub to 2-3. Make sure to properly set your gain structure starting from mixer and make sure the limiter lights don't flicker

Mixer>Sub>Tops. push in the crossover, it makes a huge difference by letting your tops focus further away from bass that won't be heard over the sub anyway. Polarity is your own discretion, I don't use it. I have done large events with the XLF and never have i maxed it out, usually 12 oclock is good, max i needed was few notches passed it.

I have one too, but I use RCF312as with my XLF
