Hey guys! So my ears are starting to go bad, so I got some really nice custom ear plugs. The only problem is that the pressure of most ear phones push the plugs to far in my ear and hurt really bad. Does anyone know some 50-200 dollar cans that don't push on the ear at all ( ones that wrap gently around the outside of the ear). Thank you very much guys!

No we don't because every ear is different. one might have no problems with their headphone and earplugs, whilst others have problems.

My 0.2: go to a shop, bring your plugs, try some headphones. simple as that!

I have no shops in my area, so I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation of what headphones go AROUND the ear.
If you have nothing to offer, please do not reply, thanks.

Most DJ headphones fit around your ears.

I've used MDR-7506 and HD-25s with earplugs. Both of them were fine as long as the earplugs didn't stick out too far. But HD-25s do sit on your ears. IMHO, it's mostly about the size of the earplugs that makes it work or not.

I use A&H Xone XD-53's with custom plugs all the time, no problems at all. I've also used the Pioneer HDJ-1000s and AIAIAI TMA-1s without any issues.

The V-Moda Crossfade LP2 go around the ear and are very comfortable or the Sennheiser HD280 if you want to block out more noise but they do clamp quite tightly to your head
