Hi guys, Do you know any good mini portable keyboards that i can use when travelling, I know the teenage engeneering Op-1 but it costs 800 dollars so its a bit too expensive. I wanted something like that but cheaper, do you guys know any good ones?

I use the Lpk25 when i'm traveling or when I'm at work. Fits great in a laptop bag. It's also pretty cheap

The OP1 is not a midi keyboard it's a synth and a sequencer... Not what you want at all !! That's why its so pricey !

You may wanna look at any 25 keys midi keyboard. M-audio Mini Keystation 32, Alesis Q25, Akai MPK25, Akai LPK25, M-Audio Axiom 25, M-Audio Oxygen 25

It all depends on what you wanna do with it !?

Yea I know, i thought the op-1 was really cool but decided i dont actually need all the features it has and the main reason i wanted it was because it looks really nice haha. So i decided to try and find something cheaper. I will search for the keyboards you mentioned :)

If you're just looking for keys, it's a good choice IMO. If you also want pads and knobs, you can check out the akai mpk mini.

I haven't tried any other small keyboards. But the lpk25 and mpk mini are small, and easy to fit anywhere.

Why only 25? What about the M-Audio Axiom 49? Both are selling locally and the 49 is a steal. Btw is this a good midi keyboard? Enlighten me please.
