Anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking for a couple compact DMX strobes to replace my current Chauvet 2000S 75W strobes, and came across this. I'm not a big fan of ADJ, but this item looks a bit unique. I wonder if it could possibly be any more than a weak color wash type effect, though.

Why not just get a single decent one(750watt) or maybe look at the technostrobes but shouldn't bother with an LED one yet, won't be anywhere near as bright and won't flash as fast as a proper strobe :D

Actually, LEDs can flash a hell of a lot faster than a traditional strobe bulb. They'll flash until your brain can't even tell they're flashing anymore, and then some.
I think a big (750W+) strobe would be overkill for me. Most people already get all whiney about my strobes as-is. I like to keep a couple smallish strobes on each side of the stage (I setup two tripod stands) for good coverage.
I'm almost wondering if a weaker LED "strobe" effect would be preferable, given the number of people who can't handle strobes for whatever reason. But I'd like to know just how bright these "Color Shot" fixtures really are. I'm thinking the other six 250W fixtures in my rig could wash them right out...
