Hi guys,

I have been asked to repair an Omnitronic P-500 amplifier. The lights come on, but the fans dont turn and no sound on the outputs. If I play music through one of the channels the heatsink does get warm on the channel being used and the other stays cold. Inside I can see a small resistor that has gone completely black, I think it has overheated. I cant seem to find a schematic for this amp online, so if anyone has a P-500 and they dont mind telling me what the value of R166 is ( or just what colour bands it has on it) I would much appreciate it, thanks. Mate contact the manufacture or distributor and ask them for the value of the resistor.

I'd also take a look at ALL components that are both up and down stream of that resistor and make sure they are good too.
