Are you sure? lol. It will fit on an iPod, but it's too long to fit on a CD.

@dlove - Thanks! :)

Not that my rep counts for much, but I need to spread it before giving you more.
This is an excellent mix and I understand you put a lot of work into making it. It's definitely one of the best mixes I've heard from any DJF member.

Bump from the dead works. Is this the same as the one you had posted on DJF 1.0 re a certain year of hip hop? or a new one? I can't remember what year that one was for.

Thanks a lot for checking it out folks! It's really appreciated.

Heard this set a few times already Sigma. Very clean well made set.

I will try to burn this to a CD is that's cool with you. My cousin, when he retired, gave me a lot of these records you played here, so i'm sure he'll love this mix.

Thanks a lot man!

This mix was made with 1 turntable (STR8-150), an Ecler Hak 310 mixer with Pro X Fade, records and Serato. All the beatmatching was done manually, but the mix was built up in stages in Adobe Audition so that I could add effects, layer multiple tracks, cut up more than 1 sample at the same time and so on.

For regular live mixing I use the same setup, but obviously 2 decks. Oh, and I've switched from Serato to Traktor now. HERE (http://www.djforums.com/forums/showthread.php?662-Sigma-80s-Funk-Mix) is a live mix I did if you want to check it out.

It's nothing special - just labels - but I'd never uploaded a mix to YouTube before so I thought I'd give it a go.

Very nice. I'm impressed with all of this old school hip hop. Can't remember when was the last time I've heard some
of these.

Great sounding mix :) downloading the split version atm. Are the tracks in the "split" version still mixed into each other, or is it the full track?

Sigma
09-04-2013, 12:18 PM
Thanks for checking it out fellas!

The split version is the single file version split into separate tracks, so yeah, it's still mixed.

EDIT - You both got a new rep star. :D
