I made this mix for my girlfriend (at the time) in 2005. It's the first proper multitracked mixtape I made. I hope you like it. It gets better from track 5 onwards IMO. :)

finally listened to it today sigma twice on the train to liverpool. really enjoyed it.

Liked a fair few tunes in the mix, what i'd never heard before.

I have one question for you, did you use any accapellas?

Yeah, I used a few acapellas in this. I used one right at the start with the first track, for the scratching at the beginning and later into the track where I switch from the full version of the song to the acapella with the beat from "Drop It Like It's Hot" underneath. I used a couple of J5 acapellas during tracks 7-10, where the beat also switches out underneath them, and I used the acapella of that Lumidee track to make the layered scratch section.
