Can someone explain to me what it is and how to mix a double drop?

It's just two drops that occur at the exact same time. Be warned that this has a lot of potential to get really messy, so it will take some experimentation to get two drops that sound good together. It will more than likely require some EQ'ing as well.

you mainly see double drops with drum n bass. Go listen to any Andy C set/cd and you will hear plently.

Man I gave this a go yesterday and I sucked at it. The two tracks need to work absolutely perfectly together.

make sure to pitch tracks that work well together, a darker, less screechy bassline will drop fine with one that sounds a big more high/midrange, etc
