Move over MKI and MKII - here comes the Art 3 series MKIII. :P

Slight change in appearance, new digital amplifiers (just like Art 4 series) and Eq settings on the back with 1/4'' capability. All ceramic drivers (although it is unclear if they changed the woofer in the 310A MKIII - since I see 2'' VC in one place and the old 2.5'' voice coil in the other...) Frequency response is still incorrect, actually indicating down to 45 hz on the 315A when the damn box goes down QUICKLY below 90hz and is about 20DBs down at 45 . Anyway, here is a link to the 312A MKIII :

Kind of leaves you wondering why RCF created the 4 series which is essentially the same as these new MKIII 3 series cabs - except for the actual cabs/looks.

Wonder what the pricing will be :)

I'll tell you why. This is just hunch. But you may recall how RCF started distributing the 312-A's model without the Three way EQ switch on the back. Instead the ones they produce now are just line and vocal. A rather scaled down version but same speaker.

They could have a lot of left-over inventory or the 312-A housing. That could be one reason the other is that they found a way to make a cheaper version of the 12" 4 series (in a different shell). To make it cheaper - I mean really the price for the 4 series is insane alone. So I imagine this one is much cheaper - or am I wrong?

Either way where can you buy them?
