HEADS UP!

DJF is on a push to generate donations via advertising and optional VIP and Vendor membership subscriptions!

You may notice an increase in ads. We've got bills to pay too, guys!

For donations, please subscribe (http://www.djforums.com/forums/payments.php)to the optional VIP or Vendor subscriptions.

Hopefully others that have benefited from the site can donate for VIP as well

Thanks hadgi. I hope so too. We have had a few people to join VIP & we are trying to post content & topics of interest in there again. Hopefully more will decide to support DJF.

Thanks to everyone who has supported DJF so far!

I've overlooked this for the whole time I have been a member of DJF. As I currently don't even have the $4 on my debit card (broke student lol) I'll begin donating as soon as possible. I love this place and want to support it as well as my local scene. So to new DJ's / producers who are aspiring to be recognized in their scene, you have to support the scene as well! Go out, pay for those tickets, buy a couple of drinks, buy that music.
Also, I don't mind the ads and actually, I turn adblock off for a couple of youtube channels that I love. Don't know if this post makes the least of sense but that's just how I feel. :D

The VIP donations support DJF & keeps it a float. As with anything, there are bills associated with keeping the site up. Donations just help pay the bills.
There are three options when becoming a VIP member:
3 month $4
6 month $22.50
12 month $44.95

There is another section of DJF which regular members do not have access to, yet VIP members do. I'll admit that over the last 3 or 4 years, not much goes on in there, so that alone is not much to look forward to unless you have never been in there. For someone new, you'll have several years of archives to go through, which I am sure most people would enjoy.

The VIP status is just a way for people to donate, give back & help support DJF. Oh, & VIP members user names change color from green to blue (I think). That color change gives you the recognition that you are a VIP member.
