Upcoming halloween party: Appropriate Music??

Hey theres this upcoming halloween party coming up in about a month and they're asking for "creepy" halloween tunes in addition to the hiphop/top40/pop that we're also playing. Anybody have experience with halloween parties?

I'm guessing some classic rock would be ok too, I just wanted some suggestions on halloween themed music. All that comes to mind is the Adams Family :smash: Thanks.

Creepy? hrm... I couldn't even tell you... umm... Of course there's "Monster Mash". Other than that I can't think of any right now, and I know there are some I played at the last one I did.

there's always crazy techno remixes of this stuff... but i'd say you can pull off hip-hop music, like current/from the clubs. It's about lighting too, so try not to neglect that.

Here's a simple yet really effective trick, not sure if you can do it at your place though, but a bunch of black lights and any detergent w/ bleach. Write scary stuff on the walls, and spend like $20 on party decorations at Party City or so, get streamers and anything that will glow.

I'll definately check out those tracks. I do believe they said something along the lines of "NO TECHNO" or something like that. So I guess they're not lookin for dance remixes? I think some of those tracks would really fit though. Is it just me, or does gravel pit sound kind of fitting as well? At least the beat does.

As for the decoration, its not our party, we're just spinnin for it. But those are great ideas, we're actually lookin at throwin our own halloween party so that might come in handy! Muchas gracias peeps.

People just don't know what they want...haha jk.....I know this probably does fall under this catagory. But i heard an awesome remix of the "Halloween theme" (micheal myers). I know that might not what they want but its a halloween song and its great to dance to....its a win win..

Problem with a lot of the Halloween themed songs is they are really not the greatest for dancing.
