I think this was a sticky for DJF 1.0.
I think there might be a need for this since the mix submission is back to it's good ol self. I see the house mixes submissions are back with vengeance. Good God, 10 house mixes on page one! After all, you never can get too many warm synthlines in a day.

I'll have to make a new mix that is pure hip-hop. Most of the mixes I have made have included some R&B and other loops.

Only one I really have to submit was one of the first mixes I made when I got my Kontrol S2 in, and finally got off my 12+ year hiatus:

The Native Toungs Mix Collection (http://www.mixcloud.com/ParisCreative/the-native-tongues-mix-collection/)

I don't think it necessarily has to be strictly Hip Hop mixes on this thread, the last sticky definitely wasn't.
Just random mixes by the DJF Hip Hop Section heads, cronies and jerbronies.

I'm guessing that some of the cats here in the DJF Hip Hop section (Especially the Soul Lovers) would really enjoy this mix.
I have been an avid fan of the blues and heartbroken soul for many many years. So much so, that my only son's middle name is "Blues" (no joke).
So you can probably imagine that this is my favorite mix I've compiled since Dumpster Funk 2.
I really enjoyed busting out all these records and dropping a proper compilation and I know that a few of you guys will enjoy it too.
You think you have it bad? Nah, listen to these guys, they live the blues.

rchecka - Blues Broke the Bank (Blues 45 Mixtape) Bona Fide Blues and Heartache Soul (http://www.djforums.com/forums/showthread.php?5021-rchecka-Blues-Broke-the-Bank-(Blues-45-Mixtape)-Bona-Fide-Blues-and-Heartache-Soul!) (13 Views from the mix submission section, holy snooze)
^ If you peep it and dig it, bump it up w/ a quick comment.

The music on this mix is so real and so fantastic, I know at least a few of you guys will really enjoy the vibe. This compilation was made with 2 old-ass 78 RPM 10" records, 20 45s, and 1 LP. NOTICE: This mix contains 100% original pressing records, 0% mp3s, and 0% jacked DJ mixes.

Enjoy.

256 kbps is the bitrate. You are probably asking because of the sound quality of the first song. Remember, it's a 78RPM blues song from the 1940s and the record was in fair condition, that's how it sounds even in wav format. Hang in there, the sound quality improves after that first song, I had to include it despite its scratchy muffled sound, it belonged there.
