Right i got my second gig comming up on the 4th and at my last one i over looked the fact of needing a decent table and the one i was provided with was for like wallpapering lol so i couldn't do any scratching as i planned cause it was wabbling like hell with just the weight of the table and me using the faders... doh :banghead: luckly that was only a 30 minute set at a battle of the bands (and playing records inbetween bands setting up) so the crowd were happy enuff with me just going from record to record.

But this gig i got coming up is for one of my mates birthday and he doesn't even have a feckin table.... he's really into hip hop and turntablism and he knows what kinda stuff i can do in my house on a sturdy table and he's expecting that lol so i need some advice on getting a table thats set up for decks in battle position and a small mixer, sturdy, but at the same time one which is able to be assembled and dessembled easily. Im british and i am looking to spend very little money and i'll happly build a table if thats the best option.

This is my set up and i have speaker stands and the amps are built into the back of the speakers so all i need is a table for the decks, records can sit on the floor.

any advice would be apreciated.. cheers :)

oh that thing is perfect.. only problem is im from the uk and the shipping will be pretty expensive i think, thanks alot anyway. Anyone know where i can get something like that in the uk? if i can't find anything like that i'm thinking of just building one... that way it would be more suited to my needs aswell, 4 bits of wood, some hinges and a few other technical details easy.. plus fun to do

Hey if you seriously don't feel like spending alot of cash..goto a store where they sell cheap foldable tables and check each one out until you find one thats sturdy enough for you. I got a cheap foldable for "temporary" use until my sefour x-30 arrives. It'll be alittle lower but it'll work for what you need. They range from like 30-80 bucks.
