So last night at the Wedding , when the Music was playing , I got on the Mic and when I was talking into it the sound of the music dropped , and no I did not have it on talk over . Soon as I stopped talking, the sound was back to normal.

I dont think the mic itself was doing it, what kind of set up are you running? you have any compressors or limiters on your setup?

Sounds like you are running the mic through your soundcard? or the software? or the controller?
You should be running your mic through an external mixer for best results.

I plug the mic directly into my Controller , Denon 6000 unit

Yeah, I always run mine through an external mixer so the mic goes in to the chain separate and last... and keeps the signal analog.
Sometimes when you plug in to a controller or sound card, your mic signal goes digital... and/or then it might go through gates and filters and stuff. Who knows... depends on the architecture of the unit or the software.
The problem definitely lies in the MC-6000, not the mic. Check your sound settings... You using VDJ? Check the VDJ settings too... The mic is triggering a gate or something internally.
