Hey guys,

I will be working on my RCA and ground wire MOD on my 1200's today. Any tips on how to place the turntables upside down without damaging
anything, should I use a pillow or a bucket? Any other tips on placement for work on them?

Thanks!

Seen pics of the bucket method and seem to work ok, or if you have dust covers maybe

I do have dust covers, i think I may utilize that method.

I use a sturdy cardboard box and poke a hole in it big enough for the spindle to fit in and have the tonearm over hang to one side.

Wood. 2x2's or 2x3's should work well

I used my dustcover on top of old textbooks in a kind of L shape to not touch the bubble in the dust cover (if that makes any sense)

I use a milk crate

This is what I use. Works perfect.

Dustcover works okay, but you need something under it to level it out. I've had great results using the lid to a flight case, the two foam blocks inside hold the 1200 chassis easily, whether it's upside down or right side up.
