Will strong winds produce comb filtering and or make speakers sound like crap? How do you guys deal with it?
Thanks

I haven't found this to be a problem outdoors - how many knts of wind are we talking? 10-15? 30?

I'd be more worried about them blowing over if it was that windy.

Technically though, yes wind can have an effect on sound (although it will not directly cause comb filtering). Sound is vibrations which travel through a medium (air in this case). Wind can "blow" the sound in one direction... but it would have to be very significant wind to make your speakers "sound like crap"

Humidity also has an effect. Sound will travel further in more humid air. (Ever notice why it always seems more quiet outdoors when it's below freezing?)
