Hello guys
i just have a question and i need your thoughts
which program is "heavier" for a pc-laptop-mac
virtual dj or traktor ?
i mean which one needs more resources-ram-cpu etc?
which is more dificult to run in general

I'm not understanding the reasoning behind these questions. As long as your computer meets the requirements, the DJ apps should work well.

Over the years, I've used VDJ, Torq, ITCH, and now TP, all on the same laptop (Dell D630 with 2GB RAM and XP). None used more than half of the RAM and all averaged ~70% of the dual-core CPU. The load seems to be tied to managing digital audio buffers at low latency, not the DJ app itself because I can lower the load significantly just by adding latency... but what fun is that?

Virtual DJ would be less resource intensive and it has a smaller installation size (If I remember correctly).
