Speaker Setup/Configuration

I have 1 EV Elx112p and i'm happy with with it. Soon it is time for me to add on, and i can either get another speaker (elx112p) or subwoofer(most like Ev zxa-1). Which setup should i go with? Im not playing in halls or anything just yet. Probably just house parties and small events with <125 people. Thanks!

I'd probably go for the second speaker, just so you can get good coverage in a room. If you're only playing in tiny rooms, then it'd be the sub.

Go with the second speaker, much more versatile for smaller gigs.
