Hey all,

I just picked up an iPad and was hoping that maybe there was a good production/groove machine type app out there that someone can recommend. I see that NI has iMaschine and there are a few Ableton plug-in type apps. Has anyone used iMaschine? Anything else out there that I should look for? Just wondering as I am new to the iPad world.

Cheers,

My friend liked iMaschine, but he didn't touch it again after buying a Mikro.

Technobox2 is a lot of fun for basic techno/acid.

I've heard good things about the garageband app. I think ImageLine has one too. Never heard anything about it.

And the MPC app might be fun, especially since they'll be selling a dedicated controller for it.

My by far favourite one to play around with is: Korg iMS-20 http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/korg-ims-20/id401142966?mt=8 Analog Synth

I also use the Korg iElectribe http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/korg-ielectribe/id363714043?mt=8 Like a groovebox sorta

and the DM1 http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/dm1-the-drum-machine/id431573951?mt=8 Like a virtual APC-40 sorta

The IKaosilator http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/korg-ikaossilator/id452559831?mt=8 Bassicly a virtual kaosilator lol

Filatron http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/filtatron/id396776418?mt=8 Is a really cool filter app with lots of features

And then theres like touch OSC and Fl Studio for the Ipad and Imachine and whatnot that are pretty neat aswell. The ones above are the ones i actually get allot of use out of though
