Kaytranada Album

So I heard (via instagram) that Kaytranada has just signed a contract to release an official album through XL Recordings.

I've been following this guy and mixing his music for a cool minute now and it's crazy to see how fast he's blown up in the recent year. Some people used to give me iffy looks when I'd drop his stuff, but now it always goes off.

Any thoughts and opinions on this?

I used to love Kaytra a few years ago when he went by Katradamus and was more into the offbeat/lofi/flylo-ish sound, before he signed to hw&w. Now (well, in the past year or two) he's switched over to the trappy side of things, which was really dope when he was sort of in-between his transition.

He's on a completely different vibe now, but I still like a bunch of the stuff he's been putting out and it's gonna be interesting to see where he's at in another year.
