Saw this at a wedding show. They would really save time skipping the base plate installation. Seemed pretty sturdy.

For that height, they seemed ok. I pushed it around and it seemed sturdy enough but anything longer than a 3 footer may be problematic. They still have the option to attach a base plate. These definitely won't stack as good as the straight truss would, that's for sure.
