I hung out with Benn in November 2010. On a Wednesday I proposed going to Chicago with my mom, so on that Friday we flew out to Chicago. He does this thing with his friend's at a restaurant called The Rodan every Sunday, the group is called The Living Sundays. While my mom and I were eating, Pr0tman was doing some really cool live stuff with Ableton, when Benn got there, he sat at our booth for about two hours talking to my mom and I. He pulled out a Hercules RMX and a laptop and showed me some sick stuff, so that week I bought a Hercules RMX and now I have CDJ 1000s. My favorite artist in the world taught me how to DJ, that's pretty sick in my opinion.

To be on topic, I looooooove IDM, but I can't figure out how to mix it. Cex does some really awesome stuff, check him out. One dude that nobody has heard of is The Vector Warrior, he has a single album out and it's mindblowing, I randomly got it from a friend one day, forgot about it and then found it and listened to it, fantastic stuff. Terminal 11 is more breakcorey but he's completely awesome, very unique sound to him.

I love bvdub, half his music has some beat but the other half is really nice and emotional, athmospheric and stuff.
Of course, Aphex Twin, Tycho, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Helios, XXYYXX...
