Instead of emailing you I thought I'd post up in here in case anyone else in the UK was thinking of ordering a pair (I'm sure someone must be). How much would shipping be to the UK?

Can someone who has used these before comment on how good they are as functioning slipmats? I currently use Thud Rumble Frosted Plates with Flying Carpets. I'm assuming they're pretty good and if I were to throw some Flying Carpets underneath I'd be set, right?

Just some info, but I'll let others jump in.

Sounds like you do fast cutting and back fast spins etc.

Frosted Plates are thinner/ than my slipmats, and slide a bit more than my slipmats.

Mine are medium weight and they have a coated bottom for extra slickness. Good for mixing and scratching, they have good slip and good pick up.

With Flying Carpets you will be good to go, my buddy is a scratch style, beat juggle, type of Dj, and he uses them with Flying Carpets and loves them.

FWIW I have the glow in the dark Boston slipmats I got a few months ago (during DJF 1.0) from Dskreet --> simply awesome. They're like butter on my techs. Will definitely be buying another pair if I can figure out which design I want. So many to choose, so little money, haha.

All my slipmats are Limited Edition, I don't mass produce. Just small runs, re-print a few times if there is demand. And then I move on to other designs.
