On the night of, April 2nd 05. DJNaviss, Done a Dance for a local school. From 8 PM till 11 PM.

Here we have listed, Photo's of the night, And also that of Video's.

The video's are compressed in a zip file. That is 228 MB. With 5 Video's.

These are NOT 56K (Dial Up) Friendly! And with heavy load's hitting our server, It may take up too 35 Minute's for a user on Cable to download these.

Support for the video's, Will be limited, So if you wish for us to send it to you, Please wait in line!

NOTE: DJNaviss did NOT have his reg video crew member, Due to being sick. As he hired pior to the event a newbie video recorded so to speak. And was un-aware of their skill level in doing so.
With this being said, Volume level's when around speaker's will go up, So please --- Keep your hand on the volume Control!
Also, There was some dark area's that wasn't suppose to be taken feed of. Nor was there to much of the lighting taken.
We hope to have back our reg recorded soon!

This goes the same for photo's, As only one of the system was taken, The rest wasted on Naviss!

My server is being over ran! So, You may want to download them alittle later, I've gotten feedback saying it's taking cable user's over and hour to two hour's to download video's. :uhoh:

Tomorrow, We will be starting the support, From messenger's.

Anywho.... Just thought I'd share before I head out. Long day...

This is only the 3rd forum it's been posted on, So you can get a good download spot. :)

For the next week or so, My server will be pretty busy with all the download's!

Not much of a use. Hell I can't push'em to much.... 3/4 of the night, I didn't even have all four of my full range cab's going. Only till about the last 30 minute's, When I really pumped the bass. :)

Yes, One of the mic's are... You know that light is really nice... It give's alot of bright light, But when it's set kind of low, It has a nice 25 Watt bulb that isn't to "in your face".

I think there was a turn out of 250 or so teenager's. Most was out in another room doing twister and alot of other shit I guess... (Some girl came up and got on the mic and said all the game's going on out there.)
So not to many was dancing all night. About the last hour or so more got out there.

Yeah, It's been almost 3 day's from the time I put'em up... Only used around 20 GB's of bandwidth so far... These wasn't as good as my last one's. :uhoh:

Right now you can get them for as low as 375$ or around that... The new EFX-1000 Come's out next month... So I bet the 500 will drop even more.

I was going to go with the 1000, But it's not out yet, And wanted something for an upcoming gig.
However with shipping I think I'll get it when the 1000 come's out! HaHa!

As for mixing? Yes there was one mix in the video clip's.

I've yet to see one mobile event video with mixing other then a few short secs like mine.

We take video's of the people dancing, The rig, And lighting... Not of the DJ mixing.... If that's the case I could make hour long video's at home, Of me mixing for you to enjoy.

I've watched a great deal of mobile event video's, And I've yet to see ANY DJ here that has video's of mobile event's like myself.
I'd be more then happy to send you to a DJ Forum that I'm apart of with many event video's for you to look at, And you'll see the same thing as mine. People dancing having a good time, And video of their rig and lighting.

I like other's aren't trying to make a Q-Bert Video, Or a TIC2 Video. For one we don't have hour's of flim to do such a thing.

Cause i was curious to see if you mixed much because of a post you made recently saying you dont mix much, so i wanted to see how it was....

That said, i wasnt trying to be overly negative (although yes some..), my point is; On a DJ forum, i would think mixing is something of intrest.

The one mix you made? I found 2 actually, but just like 2 seconds of each.

You repeated headsprung at the end of the song, or you were playing a pre-mixed version

And

You transitioned from a slow dance to Oh.

And on that note, i would recomend going to something a little more hype out of a slow dance. But that;s just real constructive critisizm, take it how you want. :uhoh:


And yo, it showed the lighting well, equipment etc, but it wasnt a great example of ppl dancing, just because what ppl were in there, were all spread out., its the highschool dance curse.




So take this post how you want. Its just a little more insight into my previous breif post.

The only reason I played Oh by Ciara.... Because it was requested... Hero was the LAST song of the night. However As people started to leave, I went ahead and played Oh, That's why they didn't mix... I wasn't trying.

At most mobile event's, DJ's mainly just radio crossfade...

As for headsprung. That was a edit that I done myself for my set's. (I didn't have the reg one on hand.)

And again as for the Oh song... Soon after it started playing. The lighting's was turned on, And people started to leave.

No, The turnout wasn't to great... Peek in the gym was around 250 - 280. Most was out in the lobby playing games. Limbo, Twister etc.

LOL Nice... Yeah... I knew about the EFX-1000, Come's out next month and was going to just get one of them. So I could be up to date with time's really. And I can get one for 659$... But pre-ordered.. They come out next month.

Anyway, The reason I didn't was because the new 1000, Don't have isolator's, Which I like... So that was a major downfall for me getting one.
