DJM 900 and Innofader

Currently I own one of the original spec innofader. I hadn't realized that AI had made more since the time I bought mine, and I just have a couple of questions:

1) Can I fit the original innofader into my DJM 900 nexus or do I need an Innofader pro?

2) Do I follow the installation instructions for a DJM 800? Because I was having a hard time trying to find some for the 900.

i think the 900 uses a different crossfader setup than the 800. something in the back of my head tells my i read that somewhere....duh...

Innofader PNP. They just came out and it's what Eliot suggests you use. It comes w/ the djm 900 adaptor

If you already have the original innofader, someone on this forum was selling a DJM 900 w/ an innofader a few days ago, he said he installed the regular one so I guess it's possible

Ah cool! Thanks for getting back to me on that. I still need instructions on how to do it, because I don't know what board (from the OG Innofader) the DJM 900 uses.

I'll reply for the benefit of all reading this thread.

Yes both our new Innofader Pros and Innofader PNPs work with the DJM-900. We also have a bunch of spare DJM-900 mounting plates that just came in so yes it is possible with either an older Innofader Pro or even original Innofader can be made to work with these. The electronic mounting is same as the DJM-800. My guess is also once the PNPs and new Pros come into circulation, some DJs might also start offering DJM-900 plates to others who have older models.

I had a quick question about the Innofader with the DJM-900SRT. Will the adaptor plates work or will I need to do any cutting or filling down like I saw on this video.

No cutting is needed! This was just for a prototype I gave to the guy who did the video which was too big. The production pieces will fit fine.
