Well, a friend sold me his STR8-150 for 50 bucks if I could fix it. All the problems lie within the tonearm. 2 of the tonearm wires are disconnected from the metal sleeves that connect to the spring pins.
Also, one of the wires that is disconnected also corresponds to a faulty spring pin. It sits flush with the headshell socket and I can't seem to pull it out.
Is there anyway I can replace just these components without getting a new tonearm? If so, how much do STR8-150 tonearms generally cost? I wasn't sure if any other assemblies would fit, as I can't track down replacement parts for this table in particular.
