Nottingham here, not a DJ though just like playing for fun(usually on my own or to the kids :D). Even if I ever become good enough there is no scene for techno here so no chance of me getting any gigs :(

Swindon... this is Swindon.

As much as the weather gets on my tits, I've lived in warmer places - I was living in the south of France before moving back to Blighty... that had great weather and nice beaches - but the music scene was awful out there compared to how we've got it in the UK.

I really missed being able to go and see top DJs or go somewhere and listen to decent music.

The only place on the continent I've lived that had good clubs was Paris but to be honest the weather there is exactly the same as the weather here in the UK.

I was thinking head out to Majorca for a couple weeks and do some work monies not great but must be a good experience. I've often thought about the channel islands I think Jersey has a good house scene

Friend of mine has a gig in Jersey coming up this year (soon I think), I'll get some feedback!

Swindon... this is Swindon.

Close! I'm Oxford

Got my first CD decks (Synergy CD2000s!!) from the Richer Sounds in Swindon way back when. Well one of the decks anyway- the Oxford store only had one in stock so had to pop over to Swindon for the second!

I had some of those. They were terrible, but at the time I thought they were great!

Southend, Essex. I think it's probably even worse than where the ashtray guy was from. Lol
