The NS7 does not play CD's so it really depends on what you want to do. Having said that I'm with KLH. I prefer the NS7 hands down because it is slick and sick. And it's the future.

NS7II without any doubt, but I'm not getting the .vs with the Mixdeck they are two different animals.

Not an ideal comparison, but my two cents are on the NS7 II.

Yeah, I should've said something similar.

The MDQ is an stand-alone system that can be used as a controller. While it is superior than the NS7-2 on paper, the "fun" factor is missing from the MDQ.

The NS7-2 is an update on the classic NS7 controller. It's a controller that can be used as a mixer. When paired with Serato DJ, the NS7 2 becomes way more fun than the MDQ. Why? Rotating platters with 7" vinyl. That one simple thing melds old-school vinyl feel with nuschool controller technology. Only a true TT setup is better. Yeah, it's heavy. Yeah, it's a pain to transport. You know what? So what.

THAT is why we are all saying the NS7-2 over the MDQ.

So why am I rocking the S4 over the NS7-2? I had the NS7... but wanted a sampler. So I bought the S4. Now that the NS7-2 is out, I've contemplated going back to the NS7-2, but instead decided to buy TTs and add them to the S4. Booyah.
