First of all I want to say that I'm not a DJ. I'm looking for speakers for a party. I have a budget of $500-$1000. I stumbled across Mr DJ and saw that they had some powerful speakers for very cheap prices. Has anyone had experience with there speakers? I want some speakers that have a lot of bass!

MR DJ speakers are a joke. Run Forest, Run!

You'll get more and far superior sound out of one EV ELX15P which can be delivered to your door for less than $ 700.00

I suspect they pay as close attention to designing their speakers as they do their product description.

e.g. listed as features are, Trebble Equalizer and Driver Tweeter.

They list peak power, but not amp rating, sensitivity nor max SPL so you have no idea how loud it can get.

I would consider the $200 spent on one of these to be $200 thrown away.

All of those links for speakers were stated in PMPO which is just a made up number to make the speaker seem impressive...

For $900ish you can get a pair of RCF312A's which will kill any MrDJ speaker known to man

They are very honest with their descriptions: Dual 18" 12000 Watts Peak Momentary Power Output

It'll handle 12000 Watts Peak for an attosecond.
