That amp is a good budget amp. Many people use it and it is one of the better products that Behringer makes.

I haven't used, seen or heard them myself but was just recently given a good review by a friend on the new Behringer INuke amps.

But do you really want to say '4 ....top's driven by Behringer INuke amplifiers.'

I certainly wouldn't...

I've used the EP2000 which is the smaller version a couple of times and its not amazing but it's certainly one of the better Behringer Products.. Good if your getting started and on a strict budget

Behringer EP4000 is a rebadged EP2500. EP2500 is a solid amp and definitely great for the money.

Just don't think the 4000 is really a 4000w amp.

Sorry but I don't understand your comment.

Are you saying they're not good for 4 ohm loads? The review I was given was while driving four subs with two per channel so four tops with two per channel should be a none issue.

Here is a Inuke3000 driving a pair of subs (& doing a great job of it I may add)

it is one of the better products that Behringer makes.

I've been under this impression as well. I would still take a QSC GX series over it any day of the week, but hey.

I knew a small bar that used an EP2000 and it handled the use/abuse pretty well.

I own 3 pieces of Behringer gear, a DSP speaker management system, a DSP eq and a rack mount line mixer the get used almosr every week for the past 3 years and not a glitch from any of them.

Thanks, can't wait to snatch those 40Lbs amps up tomorrow gonna bridge one for some subs and the other may remain regular. I've read the manual front to back. It pulls 14 amps full power so this means it needs a dedicated circuit?

While I would say the EP series is good for use in stereo, I would say you're trying your luck in bridge mode & don't expect anywhere near the listed 4,000 watt spec because you'll end up disappointed. If it really does pulls 14 amps full power then you're going to want to find a dedicated 20 amp circuit to reach full potential of this amp.

This is a post from an amazing thread full of thorough amp testing: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=10755565#post10755565

It covers the Behringer EP2500 in bridged mode. As I stated before, the 4000 is just a rebadged 2500. Expect it to perform as such, and you'll be fine.

I had an EP4000 in the past and it never failed me. It was heavy as heck but worked great to run a pair of Cerwin Vega dual 15 ProStax 3 way speakers. With the advent of the value priced QSC GX series I don't see much of need to buy these heavy beasts any more unless you truly need mono 4 0hm power.

I have picked up 2 IPR 3000's and love them so far as for 4 ohm Mono power I have access to a Peavey CS 4000 whenever I need it.

Isn't the EP series a circuit for circuit copy of the QSC RMX series? That's probably why they're reliable...
