2014 is finally here, we can't wait to start a new year full of musical adventures together ;-) and there's no better way to kick it off than with the genuine and original Leading Astray Boat party that we all love so much. Due to popular demand (and why not saying it, we are also itching for it) we are throwing one-off winter boat party while summer comes back.

Carnival is the perfect excuse to dress up (as if we would need one...lol) so let your imagination run wild and free and get the costume you always wanted to wear! Or you can improvise easily with all those accessories lying around at home, or go to your nearest charity shop, buy the tackiest dress you see and off you go, hehehe! There's always alternatives and ways to be lead astray.

Very limited early bird tickets are now on sale for 12squids in RA, snap yours quick if you want to save some £££, as soon as they're gone tickets will go up to 15prawns.

Looking forward to have you all on board again,
The Leading Astray family ♥

Peter Berg

Peter Berg embodies more than 20 years of experience in electronic music. Although it is Bavarian blood running through his veins, his musical heart beats for Berlin. Having witnessed the birth of techno it wasn't long before little Peter was drawn into the Munich underground world of the then novel music genre where he was inspired by the pioneers of the 80s New Wave and the social movement that came with it. The magic of the unknown, which connected music and people, let lose energies and formed synergies mesmerized him, tying him irrevocably to the genre. Committed to introducing the sound of the first DJ heroes like DJ Hell and Lester Jones to his hometown Ingolstadt there was no journey too long for him and after frequent visits to the 100km distant Munich record store 'Optimal' it was time to take matters into his own hands. From 1997 people in and around Ingolstadt enjoyed Peter's DJing skills before he moved and settled in the city that is known as the cradle of techno - Berlin. Never forgetting his roots though he continued to run the monthly night 'Tanzabend' in his hometown, which was renowned over years to be 'strictly techno'. In 2009, after a creative break, Peter together with Paul Schulleri and Eiblonski formed the artist collective 'Spreekader' which was bid welcome enthusiastically by members of the underground techno scene. With their event series 'TANZ ODER GAR NICHT' they managed to play their way deep into the hearts of the Berlin crowd. On top of that Peter ran his own night 'Schallkorallen' in the historic club Tresor, during which never letting go of his commitment to support his home scene where he helped establish the club night 'Tek-nik' with his buddy Dypeerl. It was the close cooperation with Paul Schulleri though which prompted Peter to take his first steps in producing and eventually lead to his first release on Butane Records end of 2010. These days Peter can be seen at the decks throughout the Berlin club scene and beyond. His rock-solid, groovy tech-house with a tendency to ground shaking bass lines make him an authority on the dance floors but his intensive background in techno doesn't keep him from venturing into the territory of minimal house now and again - all the while never loosing feel of the crowd's mood. 2012 was the beginning of the now well established Thursday series Foreplay'' in the world famous club Tresor, which he runs and where electronic music lovers are in for a treat week after week. No matter what, Peter Berg will be seen moving f(lo)orward.See more

Last year's was awesome, it's a bit nippy in Feb, but cruisting down the Thames as the sun goes down and the lights of London come on, all while rocking out to techno is pretty awesome.
