A lot of scratch DJs often feel like they get stuck in a rut. If you think of individual scratch techniques as words and combos as sentences, often DJs will feel like they're "saying the same sentences" over and over again, as they get caught up in doing the same patterns.
This was a project started about 8 years ago by someone on my forum. It uses real scratch samples to create combos which you can then copy. It's programmed so that it won't come up with any combos that are impossible to pull off. You can set the difficulty level, exclude certain scratches, and there's a couple of different modes including a Q&A mode where the program performs a combo and then leaves a blank section of beat for you to try and copy it.

Now, the bad news - This only runs on Windows and it only runs on Windows XP or below. At the time this program was written, Windows XP was the newest version of Windows available, and the program hasn't been updated since. Also, the 2 sample sets included were ones that were fairly quickly put together to test the program - one was done by me and the other by a friend of mine called Dub-Se7en. It is possible to create your own scratch samples to use with the program, if you've got a bit of knowledge about programming.
Here's an MP3 of the program doing some scratching using samples that I supplied: -

And here's a ZIP file containing the program, as well as the installers for the 2 sample sets: -

If you give this a try, you need to install the program and at least 1 of the sample sets, although you might as well install both.
Because of the "XP and below" limitation, I don't know if anyone will be able to try this, but if you do, let me know what you think.
