Hey guys just in the market for a new controller. I'm currently using a Hercules RMX run into a numark mixer then run out to my QSC hpr151's then into a qsc GX7 then out to peavey SP2's. I go from 1/4inch to RCA then out to XLR for the rest of the system. I'd like the option of staying all XLR. The kicker is I need a controller that does a great job running my Line6 wireless mic because my main source of jobs is weddings and thats where the RMX fails on an epic scale and the whole reason the numark mixer is in the source chain. I'd like the have an all in one solution. My price range is in the 1000-1200 range and I'd like to have all the mixing of the RMX (maybe more) and some great mic output as well.

Numark NS7 is a very nice option.

Any of the high end controllers are great alternatives. Head on down to your local music store and try em out.

Keep in mind that mics are kind of an afterthought on controllers (like checking the box that there is one). I find it better (like you) to output my S4 to a mini mixer (Mackie 402vlz3) so that I can run multiple mics and a backup music source easily.

I have decided to go with the denon mc6000 like the idea of two mics and does all the Xlr stuff I want. It's also a stand alone mixer so incase of disaster I can run iPhone iPad combo and keep going.

I have a novation twich and it's great. I has almost all the same features as the ns7, it can be hard to beat match on there. At least i haven't gotten used to it yet. But it's so small. It's not as sturdy as the ns7 but it's so small! I can carry it anywhere with me just for fun!

I like itch a lot and feel it's a great program.

ns6, if you're not coming from turntables its pointless to go to the ns7

Big decision now is should I do one flight case with my gx5 and mixer or do two cases and put my gx5 and my backup gx5 in there own case. Then do a drawer in my mixer case to keep my mics and spare battery's and cables.
