Moog Audio was stocking and handling Innofaders for quite some time in Canada. Then something strange happened. They placed an order but kept dragging their feet on paying for and completing the order. The same time they were telling customers things like “the factory is out of stock” and “there’s a problem on their end” etc.

I only found out about this when an irate customer told me that Moog had him make a deposit for product. The customer was waiting for weeks and Moog kept telling him that WE were out of stock when THEY were delaying payment for their stocking order. When the customer reflected the truth back to Moog, Moog decided rather than coming clean with their customers, it was easier to just drop the entire product line, scapegoat me, and continue lying to everyone.

Whatever happened to good ole business, helping out customers, doing honest business, supplying product? Is it really that difficult?

That reminds me somewhat of the Ocean Marketing fiasco (http://venturebeat.com/2011/12/27/ocean-marketing-how-to-self-destruct-your-company-with-just-a-few-measly-emails/). They delayed a shipment of products by about a month, pissing off someone important in the business.
