View Full Version : Chauvet Trident Issue - my own stupid fault!!

12-03-2013, 12:46 PM
Hey all. First post from myself. Sorry i dont have much time to introduce myself... In a bit of a pickle...

I have a Chauvet Trident (http://www.chauvetlighting.co.uk/trident.html)

I have recently run it using a Fader/Dimmer. Stupidly overlooking the clear instructions stating NOT to do so in the instruction booklet.

Anybody got any suggestions of what I might have done here?>?
I have changed the internal fuse that is at Power Input but have not opened her up to check if there are other fuses.

Thought I would post here first and see what other experiences yield...

Any help appreciated.

Thanks - mulch...

You could've damaged anything voltage sensitive but there's no way to tell for certain. A lot of these lights have voltage regulator circuits that will shut down if proper voltage isn't available.
