Sky's the Limit still puts tears in my eyes.. If one song could explain my life, it would be close.

At 16 I lost my mom. My dad has been a junkie for as long as I can remember. I dropped out of school and went from place to place with nowhere to call home. I stole clothes and shoes to fit in with the cool kids. I lived with friends and family and even stayed in motels. I sold drugs, drank every weekend, and had fun partying. I could have went down the wrong path but instead I turned to music.

Sky's the Limit inspired me to make the best of my situation. Music in general gave me hope that I would make it through. 12 years later, I'm getting paid to do what I love.... when I hear that song it just reminds me of all that I've been through. There's a bigger meaning to tht song, the title says it all. You can do anything you put your mind to.

Tonight I'm dropping a tribute set in honor of BIG. Its gonna be hard to get through... RIP BIG

I wonder what the music industry would end up as if artists like B.I.G never got killed. Who know's what could have happened even if artist's like Tupac was still around today

Why all you claimed "hip-hop fans" celebrate dudes death instead of his birthday? ....just curious

It's not celebration, it's mourning. An opportunity to recognise a great was taken from the scene too early.

That's fine and all, but my point i,s why can't we recognize his work for what it was, instead of centering it all around death? I dunno
