i'm getting rid of some extra gear laying around the studio. everything but the uplighting package includes shipping in the lower 48 states. i won't ship to addresses outside of the US.

NI Maschine Mk2 $450

Like new. Took it out of the box and set it up once with my computer but it didn't suit my workflow. I set it aside to practice with my turntables and perhaps create a live routine but i haven't been struck with the insertion so i'm gonna sell it.

Apogee Duet 2 - $450

I used this strictly in my studio. probably the best "sounding" device in it's price range. If you're a bedroom producer and want a serious upgrade for your setup that will get you the best bang for your buck, this is it. Used ones don't come up very often. I'm selling because i was experiencing some issues with the drivers on my studio computer. It seems like the issues were fixed and tech support was very friendly and helpful with the issue, but i run a full-time operation and can't afford to be down for a moment so i upgraded. Do your homework. The reputation of this device is that it is very simple and plug-and-play with near-professional sound quality (most records that you like right now have probably passed thru one of these at some stage in the process, watch studio videos of your favorite artist.. you probably see one of these in their hotel room or home studio).

Comes with box, instructions and breakout cable. Very light wer. Some light surface scratches from being out on a tidy desk for a little over a year.

Sennheiser x Adidas HD-25-II Headphones - $250

I'm a TMA-1 user. I bought these because one of my pairs of TMA-1's broke and i wanted to try the competition. I hated every second of them. They are definitely not bad headphones. In fact, many prefer them over anything else. I do not. So they've been worn a handful of times. Kept very clean. Comes with box, manual and storage bag.

Vestax VFX-1 Midi Controller - $75

I've had this hanging around my studio for ages. I bought it to control Serato FX so it currently wears that overlay, but it can be peeled back and used with the Itch overlay if you prefer.

DJ Tech Tools MIDI Fighter - $100

Bought this on a whim a long time ago and its very very cool. Very well built, the buttons feel great, and it's a cool looking piece of gear to have around. Unfortunately, i never found myself using it. I can imagine why people love them though. So much fun.

Akai LPD8 - $45

I used to use one of these mapped to control Serato FX but i broke the USB jack and sent it back to Akai. They sent me a brand new one (this one) and i never really got any use out of it after that. i never relayed used FX much and didn't miss having one extra thing to set up and worry about. But the thing has a million uses. Maybe you've got one.

M-Audio Trigger Finger - $60

Got this in a trade. Mostly gathers dust. Works great.

Generic unbranded RGB LED Flat Par Cans (x14) with extras - $850

I have a little side-business djing wedding and corporate events. i picked these up off of a craigslist ad a couple years back thinking i would offer an uplighting package to make a little bit more cash. for the cost, you really can make your money back in one or two uses. I did. But i'm usually a one-man crew and setting up multiple PA's, DJ equipment and uplighting becomes more than i want to bite off. But its a great investment that can end up banking you quite a bit. Also looks great when reinforcing a small lightshow or backlighting a stage.

The package includes 14 lights in carrying cases (2 per case). power cables for the 14 lights. and a few of non-working units that can be used for parts (if you want them). Shipping is NOT included on this item. a face-to-face pickup would be ideal but i'd also ship for an additional $75 with cases and extras or include free shipping without cases and extras. your call.

Chauvet Obey 40 DMX Controller - $90

Bought this to control the uplighting rig. never used it once though. haha. i set up "trial runs" of my lighting rig at home and used it for that. But to be honest, learning DMX and programming lights wasn't much fun for me so i avoided it whenever possible. the unit works great and comes with power cable. Looking for the box and manual and i should be able to find them but haven't yet.

DBX 223 Crossover - $75

the first pair of subs i bought were these monstrous el cheapo passive things that i was using with a pair of passive tops. way too much work for a sophisticated gentleman like myself so i quickly sold the subs, tops and amps and got into the powered speaker game. my back thanks me. however, a crossover still comes in handy with certain speaker combinations and the 223 is an economical and easy to use option that will do the trick every time. i bought it based on that reputation and it always served me well. It works flawlessly although it's got a couple light scratches that WOULD NOT be seen when rack mounted.

Question for you, with the LPD8 pad, how much of a PITA was it to have them send you a new one? Mine broke in the same way.

it wasn't too bad. i sent them an email and they wrote back with the steps to return the old one. then about 5 months passed and i completely forgot about it and a new one arrived in the mail.

if you really depend on such a cheap piece of gear for anything, i'd just get used to replacing them at retail rather than relying on their warranty. after my first one broke, i decided to give up on them completely therefore i had nothing to lose by sending it back and waiting.
