Can't people just use their goddamn ears anymore?

The great samplers of the past didn't have anyone holding their hand and throwing pre-packaged junk at their feet. If you want to stand out in this rapidly-stagnating producer pool, you'll do the same. Go find your own shit to cut up and sample and stop being lazy.

Try http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/ for a cappellas.

Try using effects, custom EQing and chopping up the vocal(s) to make them your "own".

Hey pjday82, learning from readymade dj samples (http://www.lucidsamples.com) etc. is an easy way of learning how to start making your own professional music.
Some basic samples you can get for ridiculously cheap price, trust me I made some mistakes my samples were pretty awful, now I'm doing a lot better.
Sorry for posting so late I'm new to the forum. Maybe someone will find this post helpful Cheers!
