What's the best and most versatile option out now? Budget is 300 a light.
I was looking at several of the Blizzard options, and after watching Arnoldo's video I'm considering the ADJ Freq5's (a strobe, but looks like it might work for white wash).

The freq5 is pretty hard to beat in terms of output. For the same price though is the Chauvet Strobe FX12 which uses 12x 3 watt diodes rather than 5x 5 watt diodes like in the Freq.

John, are you looking for a strobe or a wash?

Wash for weddings; however, it would be nice if they looked good when "flashing" (turn on and off for a strobe effect) for dances.

Alot of lights offer the "strobe" function. For my example, my chauvet LEDsplash 86s, they have a strobe feature. And it works pretty good too for being a non strobe light

Yup, that's why I'm asking what's the best option out there right now offering a "true" white.

What is the advantage of going with something like the Blizzard Vari White as compared to an RGBAW fixture like the Fab5?

The other day, I saw a Chauvet Diamond strip mini for sale on Ebay. (HEH, I never seen those before). But anyway, it is the same as a colorstrip mini except that the LEDs are all white. That's neat actually. Now those are true whites right there.

The Vari White is designed to allow you to tune in any color from warm white to cool white.

You should choose the led uplights with Warm White & Cold White Color LEDs, so you can get the true White LED Lights.
