Noob question about LJ

I've been messing around with lightjockey for a bit now. I think I understand the basics of how to build cues and sequences but I dont know where to go from here. I thought you could use the ol visualizer to see what the fixtures would actually do but I cant seem to make heads or tails of the visualizer. Does the visualizer do this or would I actually need the fixtures to see what Im doing?

The visualiser will do this, LJ Visualiser is one of the most impressive ones available and even renders gobo,s and gobo rotation. I'm not overly familiar with this as I use Chavet Sweetlight but Jamesnet is extremely familiar with LJ so you might want to send him a PM.

Go to www.flyingpig.com and download Hog II PC & the MSD demo made especially for Hog PC. You can control the lights in the MSD demo via Hog PC.

Not a fan of Hog PC here... If you want a Hog, then get a console.
