I can't afford to make the jump yet to a full DMX set of fixtures. In the meantime I'd like to add one more fixture to my arsenal. Chauvet's Gobo Splash looks interesting. Well, I'v seen 2 'lil mimi-movies on line. One made it look versatile (constantly changing gobos and colors) - the other movie looked like it was from an entirely different fixture.
Anybody here have one? - or seen one used live or in a shop?
Any opinions?
Thanks

It appears to be a gobo moonflower with a faceted prism, so you basically get multiple moonflower effects from one unit, it looks to work in a similar fashion to the Fascination without the DMX control option. Personally i'd think it would'nt really give enough light output as it only has a 250W halogen dichroic lamp, now this is the same lamp as the Fascination but the fascination has a direct projection, with this effect your splitting the beams with a prism so your gonna lose a lot of the light output..
