Too many to list.
I have installed many Martin MAC 2000's, and it's smaller bretheren, every type of Vari-Lite made, and many others. The MAC 2000 is a touring industry standard.

I hope you were talking about Yoke lights and not moving mirror fixtures. :uhoh:

I can't get over how much more a Yoke is then just a scanner... Really I like Scanner's better in most cases...

However a yoke look's nice.

Yoke's just isn't my style... Or isn't in my price range. HaHa.. Either way. :smash:

Yokes are fine so long as they're mounted upside down over the dancefloor in a club to get maximum use of of em. The only reason I use yokes is because of the high functionality I got for the price. There are several good brands (too many to list really). For real pro use the Martin 2000 or the equivalent by Futurelight (cant remember model name).

martins are usually enough for most App's (from what i've seen at some of the clubs around here)

Also, Abstract lighting are worth a look (but dont think they do yokes, only scanners) but they are highly reliable

I especially love the Martin MAC 250 Krypton for it's speed - I've worked around a number of these fixtures at a musical and have just adored them. I think my opinion on the best moving head will change soon when I finally get to see some Vari*lites in motion - my friend assures me that they are the best fixtures on the market today (with the exception of a few).

I have used the following:
Mac 250
Roboscan 218
Mac 500
Roboscan 518
Roboscan 918
Mac 2000 wash&profile

Studio Spot 250
Technobeam
Studio Color 575
X Spot
Cyberlight Turbo

Here is my breakdown:
Moving Heads are greatness, I believe best suited for Concerts, Architectural, Truss Mounted, Stage Sitting uses.
Mirror based fixtures have a plus of their own, FAST scanning, good for DJ use, fast music, flat truss pointing tward the surface to be lighted. Also useable for concerts but directional.

Here is an example comparison, The Mac 500 and the Roboscan 918 are essentially the same beast. the 918 is a mac 500 without the moving head. there are effects you can't generate with the 500 that you can get with the 918 and vice-versa. You can't compare the speed of the mirror with the moving head, and you can't compare the versatility of moving head with the mirror.
I will post some architectural pictures here in a minute
