Just watched Tree of Life and feeling some piano shizz. Man this track is so good.

08. Angela Hewitt - Couperin 6e Ordre No. 5 - Les Baricades Misterieuses

Along with that, some of my other faves:

My absolute favorite performance of this piece (there are many, but Peter Schamlfuss takes the cake in my book)
Chopin - Nocturne Op.9, No. 2 (performed by Peter Schmalfuss)

I can't find my favorite recording of this one, so I had to upload the version I have. If you know the performer letme know!

Rep for Mozart  I've not had a car for a long time and am picking one up next weekend. I can't wait to be able to go for random drives again with my beloved Mozart piano concertos CDs. Mozart and wildlife can take me to another planet.

One of my favourites is this traditional Chinese piece. Li Yundi is also worth checking out for his Chopin piano concertos. I think he's the worlds best at playing chopin.

A very young Yuja Wang. Those dungarees always make me laugh. Bad bad parents :D

She looks very different today...

My lowly effort at Prelude in E Minor.

Some describe this piece as better than sex and I can see some truth in that. Beethoven is considered the master of the sonata form and this always leaves me in disbelief.

^^I'm definitely going to check out some of these.

I'm a complete classical n00b really, but I'll add my favourite piece of classical music, which is Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade: -

^^Nice tune man.

I need to delve deeper into the classical world, cos I bet there's a ton of stuff I would love.

What I like is sad/melancholic sounding violins, or more darker/broody sounding music. If you have any recommendations, fire away, cos I'd appreciate it.
