While I was in Kent this afternoon I decided to pop into DJbox and have a look at some of their new stuff, it just happened they had 2 Chauvet fascinations in stock so I couldnt help myself, had to get them.
Here's a piccy:

Got to give this bit of kit some real credit (well done chauvet) It's got 3 DMX channels, the 1st controls variable strobe and variable gobo shake, 2nd channel gives control of colour/gobo (colours are linked to gobo's) and the 3rd channel gives variable rotation speed control in both directions (going over 1 gives full speed clockwise rotation, then gradually slows to stop at 128, then gradually increases to full speed counter clockwise as you approach 255) so vou can get some really good effects out of these units, plus the gobos are the same as those used on my spotknights so I can match everything up ok plus there's a two colour gobo and a four-colour gobo. :)
Nice - how much was that?

Your on the right track! Stick with DMX Light's... You may want to look into some Scanner's first.. :)
Also, Remember this... Stick with lighting unit's that have at least a 250 Watt Bulb... Or else the light's wont be bright at all...
 nice! put up some more pics please?! :D

I really liked the fact that as the rotation speed is variable, on my controller I can fade the speed in the program allowing full speed to stationary fades. I might put up a short clip of my stuff running soon when I can borrow a digi camcorder.

It's a shame I hav'nt got a video camera.
You guys should have seen me and the guy at djsuperstore trying to fit the new stand into my car (bearing in mind my nice big hatchback has a dead engine) i've got a saloon (so the back seats don't flip forward and the trunk is tiny, we had all the seats wound down and we were there for a good hour trying to fit it in.
When I got home myself and the missus kind of had a game of metal Twister trying to get everything to fit together and then I put the stand up right through the flourescent striplight in my workshop  Oh well,
