You shouldn't need any of that processing crap at all....
Have they never heard of line arrays?

Decent live sound equipment is hard to find in the Phillippines, even worse, hard to afford. The Phillippines is considered somewhat of a 3rd world country. Now filipinos love stuff made in the US, but its more economical to ship amps and raw speakers rather than whole speakers. Most of those speakers/subwoofers you see are hand made enclosures loaded with JBL or EV woofers. Line arrays, or any speaker made outside Asia can get really expensive to ship in to the Phillippines. I know they may not sound anywhere near as nice as some of the systems available from many decent pro sound manufactures. But that is what they can afford, and are very proud of the craftsmanship that goes into making these super sized speakers.

We have a considerable sized Philippine community here & in the past two years almost all of my electronics that I have sold has been bought by them, just sold my Alienware M11x about two weeks ago to a guy who literally bought it off of me about an hour before heading back home to the Philippines.
You're right about their craftsmanship (though I am what you would call a hater on the CV horns I do respect the craftsmanship here)

Since you like Virtual DJ, you should get a decent controller to work with to give you better control of the features available. You can sell off your Marathon amps (plus any other unwanted equipment) & put the proceeds towards a combo like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Denon-DN-MC6000-Odyssey-Flight-Case-DNMC6000-FZGSDNMC6000-PROAUDIOSTAR-/300672506396?pt=DJ_Gear_Lighting&hash=item46017a5a1c#ht_5044wt_1396
http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Denon-DN-MC6000-Odyssey-Flight-Case-DNMC6000-FZGSDNMC6000-PROAUDIOSTAR-/00/s/NTYwWDU2MA==/$(KGrHqF,!nkE8VNZy--0BPT6Ln(i(Q~~60_3.JPG
Keeping in mind of the amp rack you presently have you could also go without the included case & just get the controller ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Denon-DN-MC6000-4-Deck-Controller-DNMC6000-MC6000-PROAUDIOSTAR-/110835388057?pt=DJ_Gear_Lighting&hash=item19ce4dce99#ht_7203wt_1396 ) since it comes with rack ears as well. This way you can put it in place of your current mixer & still be able to connect up your CD player to the two spare channels that this controller offers.
If you want to keep your present mixer & set up as is then you could always simply get this combo & then use a keyboard X stand to sit this combo set up on next to your current amp rack.
(note there are many other dealers out there for you to choose from & I only listed this particular one because it was the first to pop up on my search so shop around & you may be able to find better deals).

OK, just that I have seen in a few of your videos that you use Virtual DJ & thought you wanted to stick with using it also since this is a controller that can still work in your existing case without having to buy another case if you didn't want to. I myself use Serato Itch with my Pioneer DDJ-S1 controller but everyone has their own personal preference.

Probally Serato.
Then practice up on your manual mixing since the auto mix feature isn't on Serato as you would find on Virtual DJ (though it does have a BPM sync feature).

iloilo is from the Philippines not the U.S., big systems but very badly designed.
Most of these systems are for outdoor discos (with a DJ or sound operator) and are hardly used for live sound cause they sound like crap. live sound systems here (iloilo, philippines) are not very common since they don't have that much market. the ones that exist actually use some JBLs, Peaveys, RCFs, etc., and china-made line-arrays...
these disco systems use DIY speakers and are mostly powered by chinese-clone amps of Crest Audio CA series amps. these amps claim to have high wattage outputs but i'm not sure if they are rms or peaks. most of the subwoofers are based on the CV L36 designs and are using 18" or 21" drivers...
Most audio guys here need to be educated about sounds. they still think that wattage = loudness/sensitivity = good sound. they don't understand the concept of speakers efficiency, and most can't even read spl charts. I have yet to meet someone who knows what comb-filtering is. I don't understand why these guys don't read up about sounds on the internet. all they keep saying is that experience is all they need, and yet they can't believe how my Tuba30s (deltaLF 12" driver) can produce such good bass. For them, it's almost unbelievable that my tuba30s use only 12" drivers. hehe. :)

I had the same battle (still do actually) in trying to break people away from the whole wattage & driver size to be the end all to be all in defining how good a speaker is mind set. Speaker placement, how to match amps to speakers, you know all the basics still seems to be advanced physics to some without even trying to comprehend audio 101.
You're right on the BFM designs, I used to own a few of them & it was the look of seeing someone walk on air (Greatest American Hero Style)
http://www.webtvwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/greatest-american-hero.jpg
on the faces of people when I explained it was a 10" driver (Eminence HL10a) that was out performing the large over sized 18" & 21" loaded cabinets I competed against.
Here is a video that I always find myself going back to & is my driving force in temptation to do another DIY project if I can find a decent amp module to make them powered (though there are a number of amp modules to be found from QSC, Mackie, etc. on Ebay) since line array tops are just not really with in my foreseeable future (unless their prices come down or business in general picks up again). I love the ribbon tweeters used, gives such a smooth response.
zns6E_AG4Yc
If I don't go that route I may just go for a pair of JTR 12x tops instead but really my current JTR 8x do a very good job but people seem to listen with their eyes & dismiss them without giving them a chance (missed out on a few potential gigs because clients felt my tops where too small for their venue & size audience).

Yes alot of people here in Bakersfield listen with there eyes, thats why almost every dj here has dual 15s because it looks "mean to them" an they dont even know how to set it up i still havent found a dj hear who knows his equipment except one I think. Also is this your video?

It's unheard of today but back in the day DJ battles (clashes) where mainly for pride rather then for money (today it's all about the money & it's lost it's magic because of this). The thing people prized the most & prided themselves on where their sound systems & there was no bigger knock to one's pride then to loose your sound system to another sound system. It didn't happen all that often but it did happen from time to time.
you want a picture/video of my current system?? I'll look....

Well just looked around the hard drive & the only pictures of my current system I have already posted though I do have two videos of it but it's more of a specialized interest video rather then a for the masses video (no, not porn.....) but I guess I could post them.
Nowhere close to being easy listening if you don't know what's going on but this is my only video (that I can find) of my current system. The thing to note is the audio playing is from 1985 & doesn't really have much bass but see how well the system still delivers (mic heavy clips in both videos, sorry).
_VNcXjH9FGQ?hd=1

The tops are usually on tripods during gigs but it's just set up for storage in these videos, I can't remember how many Growlers where actually connected up in these videos but I do know they all weren't hooked up. There's also a couple new toys not shown in this video but this is basically the system I use now.

Thanks in my home town (Mexico) when they played it was a use your own equipment kind of thing and they would see who was louder and who got more people dancing. It didnt matter what your system looked like as long as it pumped it was cheered on. Now here in the U.S they have to have the top brand and style but this was before i knew about speaker placement and comb filtering.

Wait until you start playing with dispersion and efficiency or calculating line array placement :P gets quite confusing

If you want something fun yet educational - download MAPP online pro from Meyer Sound. It's audio mapping software for Meyer sound systems. It wont serve you specifically for any actual practical use, but It can show you a lot of theory behind speaker placement. It's free to download but you just have to apply for it.
